Anne teaches hatha yoga and meditation at Blackloch. She runs regular classes, workshops, retreats and tailored yoga sessions for individuals, couples and small groups. She also leads retreats and workshops in other parts of the world. Her sessions include a mixture of cleansing techniques (kriyas), breath work (Pranayama), postures (Asana) & meditation techniques. This is combined with guidance on general lifestyle choices to enhance well-being and contentment. She has trained for many years in Thailand & India and continues to spend time there each year with her teacher. She is grateful her great friend Paul Dallaghan for his continued guidance and for introducing her to her teacher Sri OP Tiwari, Pranayama Master and one of the few remaining classical hatha yoga teachers in the world today.
We have a wonderful dedicated yoga space which is conducive to the calming, centring and enhancing qualities that yoga can bring.
Yoga is for all. We all have a starting point and something to learn.
You may be a yoga teacher who wishes to deepen their practice or someone who has never practised and wants to learn some simple techniques which can enhance your well-being.
Anne offers tailored packages to suit your needs. You may be in the area to play golf, ski, walk, fish or cycle. A yoga session before breakfast will set you up beautifully for the day. Alternatively you may need a good stretch at the end of the day to help your tired legs or back and give you a great night’s sleep.
Wear comfortable clothing that you can easily stretch in and bring a yoga mat and a warm blanket for relaxation. You will practise in bare feet. Try not to eat anything for at least two hours before the practise.
